In 2006, a group of friends from an arts club in Kochi embarks on a trip to Kodaikanal in the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu during the Onam vacation. While exploring Kodaikanal, they learn about Guna Caves, a place where the film “Gunaa” was shot. Inebriated and excited, the friends decide to explore the restricted areas of the caves despite warnings from a tourist guide named Dominic. As they venture deeper into the caves, signs of danger become apparent. Undeterred, they continue until they reach a point where they decide to etch their group name, “Manjummel Boys,” on the cave walls. However, tragedy strikes when one of the friends, Subhash, falls into a covered hole in the ground. Initially, they assume it’s a prank, but as Subhash remains unresponsive, panic sets in. Some friends rush back for help, while others stay behind, desperately calling out to him.
